I used the power from the Momo which shows the same Amps as the DFGT, and had the same non calibration problem. I tried the glue it back together with a washer trick, and got the same results as the 1st time.

After some searching I was pointed to the usb encoder, and sure enough the encoder wheel was cracked.

My understanding is it's supposed to be turning all the way left, then all the way right, then back to center to calibrate itself. Then it will do it again a few seconds later, then a 3rd time a few seconds after that. When I plugged in the DFGT into a windows 10 pc it does this quick left-right shimmy (less than half a second).

My brother had Logitech Driving Force GT in his closet for a while and he gave it to me to replace the Momo. A few weeks ago a friend used the wheel to pull himself out of the seat, and snapped the wheel off the housing, breaking it beyond repair. I gutted it, put a new monitor, old pc, and an old logitech momo wheel in to play MAME and Forza. A couple years ago I acquired a sit down arcade cab (california speed) that didn't work. Hi, I'm new to the group, thanks for your help in advance. TLDR: My Logitech Driving Force GT does a quick left then right (less than half a second) 3 times when plugged in, then windows recognizes the pedals, and all buttons, but doesn't recognize the steering wheel.
